Marc Dosem was born in the early eighties at the heart of Catalonia, in Girona, Spain, at the beginning of an era of common use of hardware synthesizers in music and grew up with the boom of 90's electronic dance sound. After few years of playing around with first generation personal computers during his childhood, the young Catalan started composing his first personal productions with the help of early digital music production softwares. Marc’s music influences come from the sounds of dub, house and techno and from the clubbing scene of Barcelona and Girona.

In the beginning of the year 2006, Marc started performing as a live act under the name 'Dosem'. In a short time, his popularity grew strong amongst the Spanish scene, which led him to perform in the most important iberican clubs and festivals such as 'Blau Club' in Girona, 'Nitsa Club' in Barcelona, 'Family Club' in Toledo, 'Florida 135' in Fraga and 'Klubbers Meeting' in Madrid, alongside many high profile international DJs and producers.

2007 and 2008 saw Marc starting to become a key figure in electronic music production, with several tracks released on labels such as Natura Sonoris, Paradigm, Cray1 Labworks, Zenit, Antezenit, Minisketch, Parallel 125, Cutz, Upfront Records, 4Line, V-Label and his own label Soundfate. The growing popularity of Dosem confirmed his ascent as a live performer, by allowing him to perform in Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands, in venues such as ‘Rex Club’ in Paris or ‘Fuse’ in Brussels.

In early 2009, Marc signed his first artist deal with high profile Hong Kong based label, Sino, which previously revealed key figures of the electronic music scene, in the name of Joris Voorn and Technasia. It will see him releasing a series of EP on the label, starting with the announced club hit 'Silent Drop'. The launch of Dosem’s track 'Beach Kisses' in 2008 on Neue Lärmklassiker, supported and charted by top DJs in the likes of Tiesto, Laurent Garnier, Technasia, Joris Voorn and Angel Molina, amongst others, signed the first worldwide hit of the young Catalan artist. The track will then be re-released in 2009 on Joris Voorn's label, Green. In the 2009 DJ Top 100 of Spanish Go Magazine, Marc was voted Best Spanish Producer of 2008.

Marc nace a principios de los 80 nutriéndose de la masificación de los sintetizadores y la explosión de la electrónica en los noventa. Empezó a trastear con los ordenadores de muy pequeño, llegando a componer sus primeros temas con los primeros programas de producción digital. En su adolescencia crece fuertemente influenciado por la música electrónica de finales de siglo. La escena clubbing barcelonesa y la de su ciudad natal, Girona, fueron la cuna que propiciaron sus primeras apariciones como Dj en las cabinas de los clubes locales.

En enero de 2006 realiza su primer Live act bajo el alias 'Dosem'. El resultado de dicha actuación le valió el empuje necesario para actuar y consolidarse en clubes de su ciudad, Girona, como el Blau Club o Le Rachdingue, compartiendo así numerosas noches con Dj's y productores nacionales e internacionales. En 2007, la publicación de varias referencias con Zenit y Parallel 125 confirman su ascensión con actuaciones en Alemania, Francia y varios clubs de la geografía española. En 2008 cuenta ya con la presencia en sellos como Neue Lärmklassiker, Natura Sonoris, Paradigma, Cray1 Labworks, Zenit, Antezenit, Minisketch, Parallel 125, Cutz, Upfront Records, 4Line, V-Label y Soundfate.

En febrero de 2008 su fichaje en exclusiva para el sello SINO (propiedad de Technasia) y su presentación oficial con actuaciones en Fuse (Bruselas), Rex Club (París), Florida 135 y Row14 (España) lo sitúan en la escena internacional. Confirmándose con el lanzamiento en Neue Lärmklassiker del Ep "Beach Kisses", apareciendo en charts de todo el mundo y siendo apoyado por artistas como Tiesto, Laurent Garnier, Technasia, Joris Voorn, Umek, Valentino Kanzyani o Ángel Molina. Su fichaje para las agencias B4 Bookings y Technorient representan el aval que lanzan definitivamente a este artista a los clubes de todo el mundo.

A inicios de 2009 se confirma su consolidación siendo escogido como mejor productor nacional del año 2008 por la revista Go Mag. También se confirma el relanzamiento del track "Beach Kisses" en Green, el sello del holandés Joris Voorn que incluye su propio remix del track en su CD-Mix Balance #14. 2009 también es el año en el que Dosem junta fuerzas con Technasia (Charles Siegling) para el nuevo show SINO live, combinación de DJ-Set y directo con actuaciones exclusivas en los mejores clubs y festivales de todo el mundo. En febrero de 2009, Marc Dosem se estrena finalmente en su nueva casa, SINO, con el release "Silent Drop".
